Sisterhood and Biking, Sapa Ladies with love

Deja~Vu and Tilly The Great

Sisterhood & biking

Just yesterday was filled with falls, tears, distance, giving up, dropping bikes and more but the love for biking has stood the test of time. It has given new meaning to complete  strangers, we have gone from being club members to sisterhood. Now, sisterhood is: respect, presence, love, patience, kindness and support, knowing that there will always be someone around whom you can talk to or share your stories with, no matter what. There have been struggles along the way, but we have learned to forgive, forget, and stand by each other. That is where true sisterhood lies. Sisterhood is being there to encourage one another through good times and bad. Sisterhood is more than friendship; it is a bond that will last you an eternity. It is not about sharing that “lipstick”, it is a bond that is deeper than friendship, and its birth emanated from biking. We no longer walk in front of each other, we no longer walk behind each other but follow  each other side by side as sisters. Sisterhood is a bond that is above blood relation. It is a connection that goes beyond being siblings. We have found each other!

“If you ride like there is no tomorrow, there won’t be....be your sister keeper”
